Symptoms of Neuropathic Pain in the Head and Neck:
- Sharp, shooting pain
- Sudden, intense bursts of pain, often described as electric shock-like.
- Burning sensation
- Persistent or intermittent burning or tingling feeling.
- Throbbing or pulsating pain
- Rhythmic, pulsing pain that may vary in intensity.
- Aching or deep pain
- Constant or intermittent dull, aching sensation.
- Stabbing pain
- Sharp, jabbing sensations that can occur spontaneously or be triggered.
- Numbness
- Reduced sensation or a feeling of partial or complete numbness.
- Tingling or "pins and needles"
- Paresthesia, often described as a prickling or tingling feeling.
- Hyperalgesia

- Allodynia
